She just cannot STAHP interrupting him. She's so extra. One sided. Exhausting to try to finish what might've been fascinating episode. I have ADHD. And PTSD. Anxiety. Etc. AND I listen. And let people finish their sentences. He was so gracious with her. I can’t believe anyone would actually pay money to support her podcast.
It’s really nice to listen to funny people with ADHD talk about being people who have ADHD! Especially since the deep pandemic boredom and lack of social interaction has left so many of us without the connections we need, Listening to an episode is the closest I have been able to get to being involved in a conversation with women like myself, who think and talk like me.
This podcast is fun, hilarious, honest, and relatable. After getting diagnosed with ADHD in my 30s, I’ve been on the hunt for awesome content from the ADHD community. So glad I stumbled on this!
I got diagnosed about two weeks ago at the tender age of 36. I love love love this podcast it’s helping me make sense of my diagnosis and it’s been super validating. I’ve been encouraging all my friends to listen to it.
I was also diagnosed as an adult. Everything is so relatable, even (or especially?) the tangents and sub-tangents.
Thank you Jenn for putting yourself out there and sharing this with the world! You rock!
I loved parts of this podcast, and I also just couldn’t get over the host ‘listening to respond’ and talking over a lot of people. The interviews didn’t feel like a dialogue, but a way for the host to bring convos back to themselves, and it made me really uncomfortable to listen to. It reminded me of being forced to sit thru convos where I was being asked questions by someone only to have them constantly talking about themselves instead of listening, and as an afab, I’m really sensitive to that ... more
This podcast is greatly appreciated!
Came to this platform just to say this.
Having ADHD can be very lonely so I’m incredibly grateful for Jenn and this pod. It’s funny, it’s lighthearted and you’ll walk away feeling understood and heard. Would give it 6 stars if I could!
It feels so good to be heard and understood. especially the newest episode “we will just breath... -silence- don’t worry I’m still here” and Idk why but that felt so reassuring thank you so much for this podcast.
I feel really seen by this and it has encouraged me to keep going with getting my official diagnosis. This is the ultimate hey I do that
The "Whatcha Googlin'" episodes are always relatably funny, and the interviews are as insightful as they are entertaining. Having also struggled with disordered eating habits, the recent episode with Nikki Glaser meant so, so much to me. It can be difficult for me to stick with podcasts for very long, but the one show I've never had to fight with my brain to focus on is LadyHD!
PS: So I had to download Itunes on my PC, attempt to reset my password on an old Itunes account which meant trying (an... more
