  • Exceptional

This is an incredible journey. Duncan delicately tells this raw and real story with incredible respect and dignity. It is pretty rough at times, but something we should all listen to. Very moving. I’m grateful that this window exists for us ... more

  • So very sad but beautifully done

Such an horrific story. The same thing happened to indigenous children here in Australia who were taken from their families and placed in religious ‘Mission’ schools, inflicting generations of trauma and misery. Duncan is such a wonderfully kind and empathetic interviewer with a voice I could listen to forever. My heart goes out to anyone who was affected by these monsters :(

Made me wonder if the host had the capacity to really hold what happened. Gasping is all it takes sometimes to quiet people who have been traumatized as they can feel shame and be co... more
