Used to be a go to podcast and one I would recommend. Lately. Its lost it spark. Hosts talk like they are on NPR and could put you to sleep. Don’t know why hosts were chosen when main hosts were leaving but they did not find folks who know the game and are excited to talk about it at all, let alone produce consistent content. Very sad that I just don’t want to listen anymore.
I used to be a regular listener and even contributor for the show, but ever since Ryan and Perram passed the helm, the show seems to have taken a turn. We don’t seem to get a much as far as pathfinder news and insights anymore. Also the pathfinder content has shifted its focus to social issues over rpg info in my opinion, which I didn’t think was the focus of the podcast.
I do still greatly enjoy Digital Divination and their content, just miss when we got comparable discussion of pathfinder.
Good interviews with various team members. It provides some insight into what is going on at the network. It provides some details of projects to come in 2023.
Episode 35 took 34 minutes of a 1 hour podcast to actually talk about Starfinder. Pretty much every episode is like this. Random ramblings about personal stuff that has no bearing on the topic of Starfinder in general.

This show focuses on tabletop game design, publishing, and organized play, with a strong emphasis on practical design tips, indie development journeys, and in-depth interviews with designers and industry professionals. Episodes balance design discussions, publishing workflows, and actual-play sessions, often highlighting playtesting, collaboration with publishers, and the journey from concept to retail. A noticeable strength is the breadth of guests—from indie designers to staff at major publishers—and the clear emphasis on process, accessibility, and community events like festivals. This mix makes it helpful for aspiring designers, publishers seeking exposure, and fans looking for actionable insights and behind-the-scenes context about gam... more
