That voice! It will wrap you up like a warm blanket, then tuck you gently into the safest bed you’ve ever felt. It’s like honey for your earholes.
The host, Free Thrall. Is smart and funny. He has a refreshing perspective on the world’s greatest hobby (RPG’s), and he peppers his shows with quotes from classic TV and movies, amazing impressions, and tons of cool ideas about role playing games. A true must listen!
A truly inspirational RPG podcast. I love listening to where Spencers mind delves and what he explores, not to mention a lovely smooth voice to listen to. He does great reviews of various TTRPG systems and products that I haven't come across before and my wallet is suffering for it. A lovely dude who you can tell has great passion for games and his family. Let alone the fellow RPG community who engages regularly in the podcast and makes for interesting and entertaining conversations.
Less a podcast, more a community hub, KotB is comprised of messages left by a wide range of rpg thinkers, with Spencer providing commentary that weaves it into a wonderful, stimulating community conversation. There's no other show like this, and few more welcoming to old and new gamers alike.
