This is one of those podcasts that’s so good that you can listen and be entertained even if you don’t care about the subject matter.
The spaces between the content are as important as the content. This podcast is TTRPG jazz.
They offer really good commentary on OSR modules, but don’t expect more than half of the episode to be about TTRPGs at all. You’ll often find yourself wondering “Am I going to hear about Topic of Episode at all, before the end?”
Do you like NPR’s Pop Culture Happy Hour but wish the hosts didn’t do any research first? Are you put off by how empathetic and likable Ira Glass seems? Are you still waiting for All Things Considered to consider if system matters? Then check out Between Two Cairns.
Probably my favorite ttrpg podcast, brings to light a lot of interesting modules and lots of really entertaining discussion around game design

This podcast offers insightful and humorous reviews of tabletop RPG modules, often delving deep into the mechanics, storytelling, and unique design elements of various adventures. The hosts frequently share personal anecdotes and discuss their own RPG experiences, creating an engaging atmosphere that balances informative content with light-hearted banter. Themes often include character dynamics, the interplay between humor and horror, and critiques of game design, particularly within the Old School Renaissance (OSR) community. With a focus on lesser-known modules and community-driven content, it stands out for its emphasis on creativity and innovation in role-playing games, making it appealing to both seasoned gamers and newcomers alike.
