All of my friends that play MTG only play Commander now, and that’s the reason I play as well. I really think it’s the future of the game and I hope this podcast can evolve accordingly!
I’m a relatively new player, having only played for around 1.5 years, but LR has been the main tool that got me from consistently going 0-3 or 1-2 to getting in top 8 every few drafts, and even winning on very rare occasions! Now, they do expect to have basic knowledge of what words like removal, ramp, aggro, midrange, and control mean, but if you’ve played for even a few months, you’ll understand exactly what they’re saying.
