Leaving magic cus of UB but these guys are the best!
It’s gotten to the point where I see my performance suffer if I listen to the show early in the format. I think they’re too hostile about 17lands data, to the point where it’s obnoxious. It feels like their feedback has become too insular due to the discord, leading them to often make really off base hot takes or come off like they have zero clue what’s going on in the format. This used to be one of my favorite limited podcasts, but it has quickly dropped to the bottom for me.
Too much chortling and uptalk
The hosts have great chemistry, and the content is fantastic.
This is not only a fantastic strategy resource for improving at limited, but very entertaining as well. The two hosts, Ben and Ethan, have great chemistry together, and include just enough nonsense to keep you entertained, without detracting from the educational value.

Two typically data-driven MTG limited strategists break down recent formats, archetypes, and drafting decisions with a focus on practical, reproducible approaches. Episodes emphasize color pairings, archetype viability, and meta-adaptation, often weaving in live drafting experiences, deck-building tradeoffs, and sponsor reads. A notable strength is their deep, systemized analysis paired with approachable banter, which helps listeners level up their draft skills while staying engaging and entertaining. The show tends to attract listeners who want rigorous, numbers-powered insights into limited play and format trends, and it often features long, strategic discussions balanced with personal updates and community involvement.
