I mean come on. If you want to be a True Crime Podcaster, take a lesson from the pros.. (OG) Sarah Koenig, M William Phelps, Delia D’Ambra and the brilliant minds of Alexis Linkletter & Billy Jenson to name a few. 11 minutes into the 1st episode of Swift, I have no idea who these people are (no introductions), no case rundown without asides, and discussion about how women dress up as hookers for Halloween (misogyny, much?) with an aside from the man (no intro) about how flattered he was when someone dressed up as him one Halloween. WHAT IS THIS PODCAST? Kinda sad, terrible delivery, and lots of sides of ick.
I enjoy listening to Heather and the team! They are awesome and take care of business! Grateful for this podcast and their work and dedication!
While there is some good information on the Karen Swift investigation mixed in, its so hard to stay focused with all of the crosstalk. Tracy talks over and/or interrupts Heather far too often. Also distracting is the constant um’s, uh’s, and ah’s. Part 5 on Karen Swift has so much crosstalk and general conversation that they don’t actually begin discussing the meat of the case until the last few minutes of an almost hour-long episode.
