  • A colossal waste of time

Listened to the episode with the Suno CEO. Zero critical questions, plenty of admiration. It felt more like a fan interview than a serious conversation. Not inspiring at all—just a colossal waste of time.

  • One of my favorite podcasts

I always press play when I see a new For Starters episode. The entrepreneurs have such different backgrounds and experiences but share in common that they are changing the world. Alexa von Tobel is the perfect host, asking the tough, honest questions while allowing the guest to respond without interrupting. I love the nuggets here and there of Alexa’s incredible experience— she is very humble and fun to listen to!

  • Alexa listens

Alexa is very well spoken and, most importantly, she listens to her guests. I find that many other podcasters ask a question and then interrupt. Alexa is concise and then listens to learn from her guests. Very refreshing!

Dan Lorenc on Building Chainguard into a $3.5B Open Source Security Company
Q: How do you safeguard open-source software at Chainguard?
