I really liked this podcast. I just need to comment on your comment that when clients state that they are the way they are because of the way that they were raised is a crutch -they use it as an EXCUSE to not go deep. It absolutely is not a crutch. It’s not an excuse. they are traumatized, and they are protecting themselves from knowing that they were unsafe as a child and they needed to keep their parents all good. it’s important to be trauma informed.
Thank you Karen for the invitation to join your podcast - loved our conversation that felt casual, friendly and deep at the same time. Amazing!
Karen has a warm welcoming style and she builds great conversations with her guests with her thoughtful questions! I love how she helps guests meld their stories with their expertise to create a very useful show that doesn’t feel scripted.
Wonderful content. I gained knowledge and energy from this discussion. Thank you Karen.
