Something that jumps to the top of my play list once released. Bit rambly at times, but that's a feature, not a bug. Like the depth of subject knowledge they bring to ideas and really like their creative segments.

An enduring favourite in my monthly diet of gaming podcasts. Mike and Roger have an inquisitive style of discussion when it comes to their topics. The discussion is often erudite, sometimes practical, but always engaging. I have applied their IMPROV-RAD test to every new game I consider: is it clear what the PCs are actually meant to do; can I write a 6 scenario hooks for the game without really thinking about it? Recommended.
I really like this podcast, I will continue to listen to it, I will recommend it if asked.
But.....
listened to the first 12 or so,and will continue to listen to them, but am hoping that the consistancy of the audio improves. I can ONLY listen to this with headphones/earbuds, It it IMPOSSIBLE to listen to this via car stereo, due to this inconsistancy. Panning seems to be all over the place, distance between hosts and microphone/s varies highly.
Love the show though.
This show will certainly entertain any gamer but also will spark new play ideas. The discussions often offer solid insight into use of historical verisimilitude in gaming. Interview guests add enjoyable variety.
