A splendid podcast. I started listening to episodes about games I was specifically interested in, but now devour all output avidly. I enjoy the conversational nature of it and find myself either learning stuff, or agreeing sagely with much of what’s said. I especially enjoyed the TOR2e episode, hence this review. Thank you and keep up the good work.
The podcast always gives insightful reviews of games based actual play experiences. All delivered in a genial discussion between the players.
The panel offers a range of well reasoned opinions, which sometimes even rise to actual vexes.
It frequently inspires interest in the games being discussed even when I would have previously dismissed them.
Woke turds in this otherwise great punch bowl turned my stomach.
Really good discussion of TTRPGs from people who have played the games - not just read the book. So entertaining, so informative. Listen up.
You’ve been playing a game such as The One Ring with your mates on a weekend gaming retreat. On Sunday you’re chatting in the pub having a laugh and a bit of a stab at analysing the game. The anecdotes come out in between a few observations and the odd serious point. Wish you were there? Sit down with Gaming Vexes and a glass of your favourite tipple and you will be. Thanks Steve and contributors.
