I like Mur Lafferty's work in general. None is too deep that I can't walk away, if there's continuity errors (someone claimed; I didn't notice) I can mentally patch in what's missing, apparently. As a lifelong, church-going, confirmed, Bible studying atheist (all that study convinced me more) I love the portrayal of the heavens, and hells (poor kitties), as well as assorted historical figures. She makes good use of what's already around in the fictional ether.
Ms. Lafferty left us hanging at the end of Season One,
but this was just what I wanted to follow it up.
Not good
mur lafferty knows how to craft a good story - like hearing a beethoven symphony for the first time, you never know where it could possibly go - but once it gets there, you realize that there is no other place it could have gone but there
This series is a great review of the mortality, and the beliefs there in, which humans have struggled with through our history. The whimsical meandering of the protagonists trying to discover the value of their souls draws me in.
Thanks Mur!
Find her work. It Is Great!
Hope school goes well.
