James has a great interview style with a talent for bringing out the inner feelings of his subjects. He is obviously knowledgeable and prepared but by no means does he just go down a list of questions. He lets the talk go in whatever natural direction his vast array of impressive interviewees want to take it. There is depth to the stories but also insights that even casual guitar players can appreciate. Truly enjoyable!
JPR speaks with the great guitarists and innovators from the bands and projects we know and love. You’ll hear the in-depth history and experiences of each musician and then learn about the guitars of their lives. JPR is a much loved and respected part of the guitar community who really lets his guests shine in sharing their stories. It’s unique and it’s a ton of fun!
