  • No 1 guitar oriented podcast

Because , they are focused. some podcasts spend the first 10 minutes telling you how the host got to the studio and what kind of hamburger he had. These guys are very focused and I like that a lot. Otherwise I’m just gonna put on Car Talk or a short story.

You all have inspired me to get back to guitar.

Zach, Explorers are great! My first brand new guitar was a white Explorer bass in 1986.

Hard case and all $650.00 Lots of money for a 15 year old.

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Mod Your Guitar!
Q: What difference does the bobbin color make?
It's mostly an aesthetic difference; double black pickups are rarer, but it doesn't affect the sound significantly.
Mod Your Guitar!
Q: Where are we at price-wise in the market of these pickups?
The price of a PAF depends on the color of the bobbin and originality, but the market seems to be increasing overall.
Oz Noy: “Go Out Of Your House And Play Live”
Q: Did the two influence each other? Like, did you find yourself on your heavy metal, your pop gigs at the time, thinking about your jazz harmony or?
I learned to kind of separate it, but it started to connect when I began playing R&B and blues without a singer, which led me to incorporate my jazz vocabulary into those settings.
Oz Noy: “Go Out Of Your House And Play Live”
Q: What advice would you give some of the younger players out there that are listening who might want to kind of follow in your footsteps sonically, kind of blending the jazz and the blues and R&B and funk and rock worlds together?
Today's world is completely open to blending genres, and younger players should have strong roots in the blues and jazz for a solid foundation.
Julian Lage: There Are No "Bad" Guitar Sounds
Q: Where can people catch you?
I'm going on tour starting on the 15th, with performances at various locations including the Big Ears Festival.
