  • Ok

If you like commercials as much as you do guitar, this is the perfect podcast for you.

Not only too many, but too sudden and loud when you are listening to people talk.

  • Waaaaaaaay too many commercials

It’s really too bad because I like the content of the show but I couldn’t get through one episode when 25% of the show is ads

  • The best!

I watch the show on YouTube but had to come here just to rate and leave a review. Huge fan of JJN and seeing Tyler on YouTube along the way of my guitar journey and would never have thought these two would be doing a pod together. These two are both just down to earth beautiful humans. It’s like Jared always says, guitar and music isn’t a competition, but brings people together to share a passion of music no matter who is better then who. Again the best podcast of musicians interviewing musician... more

Episode 55 - The Best Bluegrass Guitarist Goes METAL
Q: Trey, what would happen if you walked into a session with that thing?
I'd expect people to be surprised, but I'd also lean into the moment and try to use the guitar's character to spark a conversation, build a groove, and see where the vibe takes us rather than forcing a rigid part. I'd rely on my instincts and adapt quickly, focusing on the rhythm and the attitude rather than trying to prove technical points.
Episode 28 - Kent Crawley
Q: Where can people learn from you and what formats do you offer?
People can sign up for lessons at kentcrawleymusic.com; Kent offers Zoom, in-person sessions in Nashville, and online courses, plus a chromaticism book.
Episode 16 - The Ultimate Guitarist Gift Guide (ft. Marty Schwartz)
Q: Have you ever gotten a good guitar gift? Like ever?
Marty Schwartz recalls receiving bad guitar gifts, but mentions a blue Yamaha guitar he got for Christmas at age 13 that had significance for him.
Episode 10 - Dweezil Zappa
Q: What is your favorite recorded guitar tone ever?
Dweezil cites his father's solo in "Watermelon and Easter Hay" as one of the most emotive tones he's heard.
Episode 10 - Dweezil Zappa
Q: What is your Desert Island Guitar and Amp?
Dweezil thinks about his favorite amps and mentions the Carstens amp for its versatility.
