Even though stories may or may not be real. The dramatization sets this spooky podcast apart from any. Also sprinkles historical facts. The hilarious downside is some of the names are so butchered (sincerely a Dane that had to Google the pronounced castle name!)
it helps me sleep
I've been listening in order and it seems less and less like histories of haunted places but instead ghost stories revolving around specific locations. I was really pleased with the Cecil Hotel and Birdcage Theater episodes, but since then everything seems to be mostly tall tales about possessions, sightings, and urban myths told to reinforce that, yes, these places are definitely haunted rather than just rich with morbid histories that give one the idea that they COULD be haunted.
what has happened to this series? has it just been given the ghost? this was a good listen TBH
Tried to get into this series, but the dramatizations of events ended up turning me off to it. Cool concept, but when half an episode is like bad fan fiction, complete with full dialogue between characters and events presented as facts, despite having no way of actually knowing what happened outside of the base story, it takes me out of it.
