This story is overflowing with leftist fear porn. Laughably absurd. Aside from that it’s a superbly produced and performed piece of propaganda about a broken family that finds a way to put themselves back together in-spite of multiple tragedies and a country that has fallen to a dictator. It’s a good story about family dynamics wrapped in political vomit but I still enjoyed it.
It did not take long for the “fictional Red Hat haters” to dive into fear-mongering, gaslighting, and MSM-parroted talking points. I truly don’t mind politics being added/addressed in fiction, but this is FAR from someone actually creating their own antagonist(s). I’m hoping that people will eventually start investigating and thinking for themselves instead of merely being satisfied by the media spoonfeeding them out-of-context, edited, or downright false information.
