  • Great show

    Love this show.

But please organize the podcasts differently.

First, most recent at the top, so we don’t need to scroll through a bunch of old podcasts to find the most recent.

Second, it would be nice if you could find a way to date the podcasts so if I listen to older podcasts I have an idea when they were created.

  • Great show

Greetings from Billings. I worked hard for the last 2 campaigns (even door knocking) and have met the senator a couple times. He’s a good man. This interview with Gloria Allred was so enlightening. I would like to see her out there more. She knows so much from the most important (survivor) point of view. I do have to listen to this on 1.5 speed but that’s just me. Originally being from Chicago, Montanans speak too slow.

  • Not co-equal branches of government

From a fellow native Montanan. Almost every week you state that congress is a co-equal branch of the US government. From my civic class I learned Article 1 - “the people” - is the primary and superior branch. Controls the budget, oversight of executive, war-making power, etc.

Granting the president power over the legislative has created this untenable situation.

A Call to Action from Big Sandy 🚜
Q: What is the essence of the DOJ memo and Olmstead in this context?
The memo challenges the right of people with disabilities to live in their communities, threatening the progress won by Olmstead; the guests frame it as a potential step backward that could resegregate and institutionalize disabled individuals.
The United States of Algorithms
Q: How do you approach conversations with MAGA supporters to avoid alienation while encouraging doubt and re-evaluation?
The strategy centers on empathy, non-violent language, and meeting people where they are, aiming to understand why they support MAGA and sharing diverse information sources rather than attempting to immediately change beliefs.
The United States of Algorithms
Q: What does your organization do to help people disengage from MAGA and find alternative information?
Leaving MAGA provides an off‑ramp, supports relationships through empathy, offers information diversification, and uses tools like information bartering and online groups to help people rethink news sources and leave behind conspiracy thinking.
Ding Him $1,000 a Day
Q: Katie, you filed a lawsuit against Todd Blanche and the DOJ over Epstein Files—can you recap what happened and why this matters for transparency?
The lawsuit seeks to compel the DOJ to turn over redacted documents or explain why they were withheld, with the judge later ordering actions and setting up potential consequences for noncompliance; the goal is to ensure victims' privacy is not misused to dodge legal obligations while enforcing the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
