  • Great show

    Love this show.

But please organize the podcasts differently.

First, most recent at the top, so we don’t need to scroll through a bunch of old podcasts to find the most recent.

Second, it would be nice if you could find a way to date the podcasts so if I listen to older podcasts I have an idea when they were created.

  • Great show

Greetings from Billings. I worked hard for the last 2 campaigns (even door knocking) and have met the senator a couple times. He’s a good man. This interview with Gloria Allred was so enlightening. I would like to see her out there more. She knows so much from the most important (survivor) point of view. I do have to listen to this on 1.5 speed but that’s just me. Originally being from Chicago, Montanans speak too slow.

  • Not co-equal branches of government

From a fellow native Montanan. Almost every week you state that congress is a co-equal branch of the US government. From my civic class I learned Article 1 - “the people” - is the primary and superior branch. Controls the budget, oversight of executive, war-making power, etc.

Granting the president power over the legislative has created this untenable situation.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Pickin’ & Grinnin’
Q: What would be an epic moment for you in your career?
To be on a large platform discussing these issues, particularly with late-night hosts like Kimmel and Colbert, to reach a wider audience.
Pickin’ & Grinnin’
Q: Did you have hesitancy when deciding to call out political issues?
I had some hesitancy, but realized I was not going to alienate people who don't already listen to my music; authenticity was more important.
Pickin’ & Grinnin’
Q: What pushed you over the edge there regarding religion?
I had to call out the hypocrisy I see in organized religion; there's a gap between the principles and actions of many self-identified Christians.
Locked Out
Q: What can people do if they want to help you?
We started a petition online and people have been calling Speaker Johnson, and setting up opportunities like what my senators did with camping out in front of his office would be great.
Locked Out
Q: Can you tell our listeners and our viewers why we're still calling you Representative-elect?
I was not sworn in yet, even though I won my election more than two weeks ago.
