Main Justice is the next era of legal analysis from Andrew Weissmann and Mary McCord, the veteran lawyers behind the hit podcast Prosecuting Donald Trump. As the criminal cases against Trump wind down and his new administration comes to power, Andrew and Mary draw on their extensive experience working within the Department of Justice to break down what’s happening inside Trump’s DOJ. Each week, th... more

Democrats are looking to regain power, and there is a whole lot of warranted debate about what a winning formula looks like. “The Blueprint with Jen Psaki” is a forum where those discussions take place. On season two of her podcast, Jen sits down wit... more

In Mary and Andrew’s estimation, there is no effort from the Trump administration to say things softly, the quiet part is very much out loud. They begin with the indictment of former FBI Director James Comey by Trump’s newly installed U.S. attorney f... more

This is an excellent podcast about the law, clear and factual with a hint of humor, much needed at this time in our country. I am in awe by the depth of knowledge of the two hosts and their dedication to the rule of law.
To have the chance to listen to the interchange between two such well-honed legal minds is a great gift in these chaotic times. But with the news cycle now spinning so fast, Main Justice only once a week is not nearly enough! Very grateful to Mary and Andrew (if I may?) for the legal education they are so generously laying at our feet.
Absolutely LOVE your show, it’s logic, facts, black and white, the LAW, and I wait for you two to post every Tuesday to bring all the awful things happening (I.e., getting all the kittens in the basket) into a plain, simple, legal view of what is very clearly happening right now when it comes to law, the constitution, procedures, due process. (Maybe make the show 2 hours?? Or post Tuesday and Friday?).
You both are the absolute dream team of so much on ’47 —my Tuesday’s don’t even start until I’ve heard your voices. Question: Could Kilmar Abrego actually bring separate defamation suits against each elected or government official who smeared him—treating every false statement as its own injury to his reputation (even though we WOKE libs know the lies never stuck)? And if so, wouldn’t that be the ultimate accountability—forcing governors, senators, appointed officials (and yes, even Trump) to e... more
I’m an attorney. I heard on another legal podcast that it is extremely difficult to get into this camp. Sex offenders are not accepted and there is a three month waiting list while Maxwell was transferred within a couple of days.
