The Griggstown Cow sold me. Great podcast where three sweaty dudes talk cryptids around a campfire. Go birds!
Every good podcast needs a passionate host and Grog is the perfect one. My favorite is when his guests go bananas over hearing about a cryptid because all you can hear in the background is Grug doing this giddy little schoolgirl laugh. He is not being tortured or turning into a Jarjacha, but is instead in complete bliss over how much other people are enjoying the world of cryptids. It is pure and beautiful. My only hope is that Grag puts this level of passion and energy into all the other facets... more
Greg’s Cryptid Corner/Stabby Stabby crossover episode could be to watch “The Brotherhood of the Wolf” which is about the Beast of Gevaudan
Really a great fun show. Good stories and banter. Can’t recall how I came by this show but I’m glad I did. Keep up the good work from the UK.
Sure, I'd heard of Big Foot. Mothman? Naturally. The Jersey Devil? Yep. Greg has introduced me to a world of creatures that never popped into my view before. Behold the Ratman of Southend! Fear the Tunnel Monster of Cabbagetown! I love it! Greg (plus Dan and Eric) dive deep into tales of these creatures. Turn the lights low and give it a listen. Unless you're driving, then just listen but pay attention to the road.

The show blends folklore, cryptids, and science with high-spirited banter among three hosts who travel the world to chase unusual creatures and their stories. Episodes weave historical legends, regional folklore, and occasional field-report moments with playful, beer-fueled discussion, turning odd phenomena into entertaining, accessible conversations. A standout is the consistent trio dynamic—Greg steering the conversation with Dan and Eric providing commentary—coupled with audience engagement through listener suggestions and Patreon perks, making it a lively hub for curious, trivia-loving listeners who enjoy humor as much as curiosity.
