I am listening to the second series of this, Hunting the Whisky Bandits. It’s a really good story but there is far too much padding - too long spent dwelling on the lack of progress and how hard it is to find and catch the criminals; too many slow bits where the journalist and her producer have a chat; too many descriptions of driving around different places or waiting outside houses, etc. this would be a great show if it were a bit shorter
Love Sam Poling and the lovely Liam. And all those who invested their life savings and shared their stories with us. This podcast was well brilliantly made- it captured everything, heart break, heart ache and it made me laugh out loud, Sydney/ Sophie/ no Sydney?! Quality through and through. One question, what happened to Craig Brooks and the gang behind Casey’s scam?
Excellent podcast . Very informative and interesting. Love the presenters voice always like his podcasts .

It’s as if the remit was ‘we need the presentation to signpost and reiterate every point made in the podcast’. So the narration is irritatingly slow and simplified with an abundance of sensationalist ‘wait, WHAT?!’ and ‘you’re not going to believe THIS’ moments. Audiences deserve better than being taken for idiots. There’s an interesting story hiding in here under the dumbed-down production. Aft... more
