Yep, it's another episode of GLoP, where three middle-aged men wander from topic to topic like your drunk uncles at Thanksgiving—except with more references to 1970s TV pilots and less pie. This week’s meandering odyssey covers the full spectrum: wip... more

  • Great, funny listen for Gen Xers nostalgic for 70-90’s pop culture

I love Jonah from his other work and can stand JPod for about one hour weekly increments. Along with Rob Long, who has great insider insights into the world of TV and movies, they make a great stoogy trio that spends much of the time dunking on modern media as it stumbles it way through the current stratification of its industry. Lots of insider jokes and late 20th century tropes which keeps me entertained when I walk my dogs or wash the car.

  • Boring & not funny

I’ve listened to this podcast for years and it finally wore me out. It seems to be the same every month. Rob barely watches anything current. Jonah is funny but doesn’t seem to get to talk enough. John is an insufferable buffoon in love with his own tired ideas.

  • The funniest show

Can’t recommend highly enough; each host is funnier than the next. Rob’s stories and John’s rants are highlights - thought John’s story about being with a group interviewing Biden is a classic.

  • The best podcast

I listen to over a dozen podcasts a week, including ones by all three of the people here. This is the best podcast of the dozen I listen to. I wish that it were on weekly. The best, just the best.

  • Dismayed

Please don’t reduce the number of episodes. Please continue to discuss popular culture of this or any decade you choose. I’m in the coveted 18-54 demographic and I enthusiastically await each episode. I don’t live in New York but, like most Americans, and fascinated by the place and love hearing about your stories.
