Decent Show. Didn’t understand why I was listening to him, but I was.

Wouldn’t say I was missing it, but found myself listening to about every third episode.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Does Trump Understand Tariffs? | Interview: Anthony Scaramucci
Q: First question out of the gate. What's your book about?
The guest explains the book All the Wrong Moves as an exploration of how Wall Street experience and political decisions, including the Bush-era wars and the financial bailout, shaped a 'grievance society' in America, arguing that good intentions sometimes produced unintended consequences and that the book aims to offer a nuanced, non-polemical account.
‘The One True Libertarian’ | Interview: Jesse Walker
Q: What kind of libertarian are you?
Walker describes a spectrum within libertarianism, emphasizing pluralism, anti-authoritarianism, and the importance of allowing diverse communities to live differently while maintaining core liberties.
Dinosaurs Might Be Fake, But They’re Definitely Not Gay | Ask Me Anything
Q: Do you still have the camper van and how do you use it?
He confirms they still have the camper van but use it less than planned due to busy schedules. They emphasize traveling off the East Coast, boondocking, and enjoying off-grid experiences, while noting challenges like keeping dogs comfortable and managing maintenance.
Dinosaurs Might Be Fake, But They’re Definitely Not Gay | Ask Me Anything
Q: What do you and your wife converse about when you're on your own time, especially on road trips, and what do you listen to?
He describes a balance between listening to Dispatch content and family life, noting his wife prefers not to engage with politics constantly. They discuss everyday life, food, travel, and dogs, and they often pause podcasts to discuss interesting points before returning to their shows.
Dinosaurs Might Be Fake, But They’re Definitely Not Gay | Ask Me Anything
Q: Can you discuss how you allocate your time and whether you have a structured routine for reading and research?
He explains that he does not have a rigid daily routine; he relies on deadlines, podcasts, and an adaptive workflow. He uses podcasts and audiobooks to learn and then backtracks to primary sources, often reading only relevant chapters rather than entire books, and he schedules podcast commitments to structure his day.
