Great discussion on the effects of social media, screens and technology on today’s youth, but why oh why didn’t you mention the great American hero, author, and top expert on this very subject — Jonathan Haidt ?
I enjoy the pod, mostly. Collectively, you all inform the listener well. JP- stop making stuff up. You go on these rants and spin yourself up on your own words, but you wade into fiction. Also, get a thesaurus and stop abusing certain words. (Ok, that last point is a bit picky.)
Poor sound quality. Host seems to be less patient and more dismissive with females on the panel (I’m a male FYI). Last, they did a whole episode on Newsom and their interpretation that he was being racist with some of his verbiage recently, while never mentioning Trump’s overtly racist meme depicting the Obamas as apes. Cmon guys/gals. Can’t take you seriously.
The new girl feels she has a right to interrupt whoever, whenever. It’s annoying and I find I’m no longer listening daily, like I used to.
