I grew up in youth group with Amy and Craig! I have since left the church because of inner struggle and to hear someone else has experienced struggle and is still looking for the answers- especially someone I saw as my spiritual leader- is so healing! I am only 2 episodes in but I’ll be listening more. Thank you! Finding your podcast could not have come at a better time 🙂
For a Christian podcast I’ve never heard so much slander of the Church, foul language, and speaking poorly against other people who don’t believe the same way as you do (namely Christians). I would find it much more helpful and loving to be just as accepting to other Christians that you don’t agree with as you are to other people groups. Also I find the language quite offensive and the podcast could be just as effective without all the vulgarity.
What a courageous and powerful and vulnerable and life-giving episode! Craig puts into words what so very many of us have lived and breathed and experienced… thank you! Stories like this make the rest of us feel like we are not alone in this journey of faith....and, understanding who Christ is becomes even more exciting and adventuresome and expensive!
Amy and Craig exposit several issues faced by believers and seekers, examining Scripture through the lens of Christ in a way that transcends the BS that plagues today’s Church and obfuscates the Good News. Their style is a blend of humility, humor, thoughtfulness and candor. Keep them coming!
I cannot begin to describe my gratitude for Amy and Craig for creating this podcast thread. I have enjoyed listening to each one and have learned so much. I’ve been moved by them as parents, friends and spiritual leaders. Their spirits are so kind, gentle and loving. I’m so thankful for them both.
