Really want to like and support this podcast, and I do support these girls but the ads on here are so out of hand and in the worst possible spots. Like middle of them telling a deep story it makes a chaching sound and switches to them talking about products that I doubt either of them use. Accepting an ad because your friend has a cat? Just takes away from the overall message.
I’ve enjoyed the GGB podcast for a while now and love their devotional. I appreciate their vulnerability and honesty even when they don’t get things right. I pray you continue to grow in your faith, as your sisters in Christ are! Thank you for being an encouragement.
But as others have said, the ads have become overwhelming and are really annoying. Please cut down on them for the sake of your listeners!
I timed it and there is a 2.5-3 minute ad every 5-10 minutes. One hour episode but out of that 60 minutes over 30 minutes is ads… I get that this is free but comes off greedy and excessive.
I have adhd and the amount of ads makes it really difficult to focus. I don’t think this podcast is going to work for me which really stinks because the girls themselves are easy to relate to.
At this point in Trump’s presidency, you cannot support his policies and hatred for others while still being rooted in the Bible. The fact that these women openly and enthusiastically support Trump (and Kirk!) tells me what I need to know about their beliefs and priorities, which are contrary to the fruits of the Spirit. Although I’ll continue to pray for them, I can no longer support or recommend this podcast in any manner.
I love the pod but can we please do without the 5 minute ads every two seconds?
