  • Untapped Potential

The FISM ministry is more effective than the podcast mostly because Shanna is typically only on for the first 30 minutes and often isn't even on for that portion. No slight intended toward the other contributors,

but Shanna is the host and the voice that most needs to be heard.

  • Pretty good, with a little room for improvement

I think the truth in this podcast is spot on for the most part. However, I wish it would be delivered with a little more awareness and love. None of us has the monopoly on truth, so a little humility towards those we don’t agree with and speaking the truth in love could go a long way. But a pretty good show overall.

Q: Rich in Columbus, Ohio asked whether there is a productive way to communicate to company management that once they start compromising with the left it will never stop.
Mark suggests a multi-pronged approach: write a clear letter to the board stating the reasons for selling, participate in shareholder proposals if you own stock, inform asset managers of concerns, and engage as a consumer. He also notes that stock activism can be paired with biblical responsible investing to maximize impact.
March 27, 2026
Q: What should Deanna, a 65-year-old with $750,000 and no debt do for investment strategy?
Lean toward preserving capital and generating reliable income with some growth to keep up with inflation, and consider a gradual shift to income-focused allocations while keeping liquidity, emergency funds, and tax considerations in view.
March 19, 2026
Q: What are the main takeaways from Powell's latest Fed meeting?
The main takeaways are that there is ongoing uncertainty, potential for rate cuts later in the year, and a rejection of stagflation, all while maintaining focus on dual mandates and economic balance.
March 20, 2026
Q: Is Axon still a buy or should it be moved to a different part of the portfolio?
The hosts indicate Axon is on the sell list and suggest considering replacements from the buy list, weighing valuation and opportunity against the investor's risk tolerance and sleep factor.
March 20, 2026
Q: What is a call date on a preferred stock and should an investor actively track it?
A call date is the first date a company can redeem its preferred stock, usually around a $25 par value. It's prudent to be aware of call dates because if rates have fallen, the issue may redeem and investors should look for suitable alternatives rather than panic.
