  • Untapped Potential

The FISM ministry is more effective than the podcast mostly because Shanna is typically only on for the first 30 minutes and often isn't even on for that portion. No slight intended toward the other contributors,

but Shanna is the host and the voice that most needs to be heard.

  • Pretty good, with a little room for improvement

I think the truth in this podcast is spot on for the most part. However, I wish it would be delivered with a little more awareness and love. None of us has the monopoly on truth, so a little humility towards those we don’t agree with and speaking the truth in love could go a long way. But a pretty good show overall.

Breaking Down May's Market Rally
Q: Jan asks whether to buy at market open or later in the day.
Mark suggests markets are noisier at the open, recommends waiting for direction, but ultimately notes small timing differences have limited long-term impact.
Finding a Financial Advisor: Why Values Matter
Q: Where should Joe start with about $830,000 at 70 years old?
Start by understanding current holdings, determine biblically acceptable assets, assess fees and risk, and set clear retirement goals before selecting a manager who shares your faith and values.
Wounded Pride Month: Corporate Retreat from LGBTQ Support Continues
Q: James asks what is king of the financial markets—crypto, the dollar, or gold.
They conclude the dollar is the current leader globally but emphasize not worshiping any one asset; crypto is unlikely to be king, and gold remains a speculative hedge rather than a guaranteed safe haven.
Wounded Pride Month: Corporate Retreat from LGBTQ Support Continues
Q: Josh asks about whether to switch from an existing ETF (TPLC) to new Timothy Plan ETFs (TPFG/TPFC).
They advise diversification and considering both growth potential and cash flow, suggesting a smorgasbord of ETFs, potentially trimming back TPLC if it has grown and deploying proceeds into the new cash-flow ETFs.
Wounded Pride Month: Corporate Retreat from LGBTQ Support Continues
Q: Pamela asks if gold will drop further and if she should buy now.
The hosts explain that gold can be volatile and should be a small part of a diversified portfolio, suggesting a gradual, non-timed approach and considering alternatives like physical bullion held at home or a credible gold ETF.
