  • Bad research, terrible embellishments

Typical parcast spin on things, but easily one of their worst researched podcasts yet. I listened to five episodes (all subjects I know very well) and they either got the information wrong, used it to mislead or glossed over true facts to spin their own narrative. Kind of shameful when you are speaking about victims. Giving it two stars only because the host is pleasant and the fact there’s no ads, but other than that, it’s absolute drivel.

  • Poorly researched, especially in regards to the psychological angle. The podcasts tries to prove diagnosis for its subjects without ever having talked to them - not that it would matter since the hosts are not actually therapists.

And to be honest, I was truly a horrified by the Lizzie Borden episode, simply because it treated Lizzie’s guilt as a matter of fact, not once acknowledging that the case wasn’t as black and white as one might think.

I also find it strange that the focus is on the Lori Loughlin in that episode because the main perpetrator was actually a man and the crime wouldn't have happened if the man who organised the crime didn't approach her and offer her the opportunity. If anything she's more like an accomplice than a ... more
