The title says it all.
Police tapes are borderline inaudible and sudden loud noises like phone buzzing in this episode nearly blew my ear out! Ads cutting in mid sentence is also terrible.
I was happy to see new episodes added to this show but miss the old format. The new show is mainly listening to the actual interviews with law enforcement or trials and it is very hard to clearly hear most of it. I wish the narrator would tell more of the story.
I enjoy this podcast and was happy to see it make a comeback. But the ads are haphazardly placed in the middle of the story, sometimes legitimately in the middle of a sentence. It’s frustrating and annoying.
I have to give feedback. The police interviews in all these new episodes are barely audible. I no longer enjoy listening. I can’t hear what’s going on. The production is poor. Sorry. I hope you can improve in the future.

Listeners tend to engage with dense, psychology-forward true crime that centers on intimate relationships, jealousy, manipulation, and courtroom drama. Episodes recount disappearances and murders tied to love, betrayal, and family dynamics, often highlighting investigative twists, legal proceedings, and the human toll on those involved. The show's strengths appear to be thorough narrative storytelling, interview-driven angles, and a willingness to explore the psychological factors behind seemingly personal crimes, which may appeal to audiences who enjoy procedural detail and character-driven cases.
