I used to love this podcast, but lately it seems that more and more Tyler is doing that weird 'stage whisper', and it's just so cringe inducing....anyone with misophonia like myself might have a difficult time listening.
I don't understand why Tyler can't just speak normally, instead of being so affected.
I'm a premium subscriber, but unless that whispering stops, I'll be letting my year subscription run out and not renewing. Sorry, not sorry.
I’ve been following this podcast and it gets better and better. The research is superlative, and Mr. Allen doesn’t distract with opinions, bells and whistles. What he does is tell a good story, tells the VICTIM’S story, and with compassion.
Can’t stand these shows with the put on spooky voices. So lame. It detracts from the story, making it less impactful and trite.
Tyler’s voice is good background sound while doing tasks. However, it is dry for an active listen. Also, the ad break schedule is at a weird interval.
I had a hard time listening even for a few mins. The narrator’s voice, which sounds like AI, is terrible.
