  • My brother lives on through this podcast

This is “my episode”. I was a little nervous to listen to it, wondering how I’d feel about everything I shared. I can honestly say I was moved deeply by listening to it. Jan creates such a warm and inviting space in which to speak. I was struck by the depth and beauty of the introduction. I loved the sound effects of children laughing, the music, and everything Jan so thoughtfully and artistically included. Having the opportunity to listen to it on this side of the interview was really great. I ... more

  • A must listen!

I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts, and although a few podcasts interview families and friends of victims of crime, Jan brings her interviews to a new level. Her expertise and compassion are so superior to others. Listening to DEOM has given me more empathy, patience, and understanding than ever before. I was especially moved by the Pulse Nightclub episodes.

  • Eye Opening/Life Changing Podcast

If I listen to a podcast, it has to be of value and worth the moments it consumes on the ticking clock of my lifetime. Domino Effect of Murder has been eye opening and has influenced my choice to stand in the gap thoughtlessly left by many city, county, and state government agencies and laws in relation to the survivors of murder and rape. This podcast is informative and definitely adds value to my life.
