A great podcast for anyone remotely interested in kaiju movies. It’s especially fun to watch the movies and listen along. The hosts have great conversations and a laid back approach.
The only time they aren’t laid back is when they show the proper gravitas due to particular pieces of cultural importance, such as “Bambi meets Godzilla”. But they could only delve so deep in that episode—it probably warrants its own podcast.
I love me some classic Kaiju films! I thought I knew everything, but this show has taught me a bunch! Check it out :)
Kaiju podcasts are a dime a dozen, but Explode When Defeated approaches it with a healthy sense of humor. Recommended even if you aren't familiar with the films.
Really fun show! Love my monsters and these guys do too!
I mean what else is there. More Mechagodzilla all the time.
