I started listening to this podcast when the brilliant Joanna Robinson came over from Vanity Fair. She takes podcasting to a new level. I especially love her episodes with Mallory Rubin covering The Last of Us. Hope they’ll cover more HBO shows together!
Update on 12/25: For more Mallory & Jo content, head to House of R. Also a shoutout to Rob, I love their (Rob & Jo) podcasts together too. Looking forward to all three covering Buffy next year on House of R!

Stop saying Ummmm
I know it’s a crutch but come on. We play a little drinking game whenever you say Umm I have to take a shot, now I’m a raging alcoholic!
So pleased to have found this pod. Was searching for information to satisfy my craving for information on Pluribus (no one I know is watching the show) when found the pod. Great insight and engrossing conversation. Thank you!
I look forward to the Prestige TV Podcast each week. Jo is one of my favorite prestige TV commentators and Rob Mahoney is a nice counterbalance. I appreciate the fun, concise, extemporaneous banter! Also enjoyed the Richard Lawson episode —yes please, to having him back in conversation with Joanna on our favorite shows!
Considering how many new shows are out there across all streaming platforms, it’s disappointing that this podcast only seems to ever cover 1-2 shows at a time. “The Bear”, then “Task”, now “Pluribus”. And like others have said, much of the commentary feels recycled from other podcasts or subreddits.
