  • Great podcast for years, lately it just gets worse and worse with the dad talk and bringing on Vtubers for guests.

  • Both are huge idiots and that's ok

The format is super casual and easy to listen to. Pat and Woolie readily will admit when they have blind spots on topics and are often pretty knowledgable about things they are passionate about such as fighting games, rpgs, or horror games. They like to sprinkle in life stuff and they don't like to wade into heavy political topics and they have progressive social stances. Chill listen from a couple cringe yet endearing dorks.

  • No

I feel like a majority of the episodes now are just a minimum of three ad reads, talking about mundane everyday things, and how perfect Pat's child and dog are.

Neither of them have anything insightful to add about current gaming news, because it usually just boils down to skimming headlines and vaguely giving brief thoughts about them.

  • Oh god, sort out the pop filter

Love this show, Pat and Woolie have great back and forth on the pop culture news but goddamn the lip smacking, gulping and snorting at full volume on mic is starting to make the ol' misophonia go bananas and I have to stop listening to this thing several times an episode. not a problem i have with aaaaany other podcast.

  • Unorganized video game podcast.

At this point this might as well just be a general news podcast. It has random banter that can sometimes be related to nothing, the host go on tangent without even setting up a premises for what they’re talking about assuming everyone has prior knowledge, and they seem to have no knowledge outside of Canada intake. No time to find out a reference information. This used to be an interesting show discussing video games, video games, news, and video game culture but now it’s just two guys talking t... more

CSB337: Freakbeast Discussion Alert, Sickos Only
Q: What is the significance of the two tokens in the tutorial?
The two tokens allow players to unlock two characters immediately upon completing the tutorial, effectively bypassing the need to grind for those characters later on.
CSB326: IN TOO DEEP: Fake Son, Fake Dog, Real Consequences
Q: What do I do about my fake son?
You need to just tell everyone, hey, sorry, I'm a compulsive liar.
CSB298: Pee is Stored in the Funkopop
Q: Am I the asshole for not helping my opponent during a set?
No, you are completely in the right. Asking for advice in the middle of a competitive match is highly inappropriate, and you were magnanimous to help after the match.
CSB 245: QUEEBS
Q: What do you think are some of the worst gimmick levels?
Gimmick levels that didn't work as they intended, like a bungee fight in Earthworm Jim or just awkward moments in control of multiple characters in an arcade level.
CSB 268: Knuck-ees If You Buc-ee's
Q: What are your thoughts on the consumer culture represented by Buc-ee's?
Buc-ee's embodies the ultimate consumer experience with its outrageous selection and cheerful atmosphere, making it surprisingly enjoyable.
