Used to listen to this podcast but have heard several episodes which are just direct lifts of other true crime content creators work. (When I hear a case I find interesting I listen to everything I can on it, which is how I spotted it.) Gave them the benefit of the doubt a couple of times but it’s definitely not coincidental. Very blatant, disappointing and lazy.
First off those accents who wouldn’t love these sisters just from there but they also are so well researched. Plus they have amazing back and forth it makes listening so easy!
This show has a very addictive property to it. Gill and Laura walk us through true crime topics (with their wonderful Scottish accents) and spill all the gory details.
Their analysis and insights are spot on while they mix it up with some humour.
A pleasant and engaging due. Much love ladies
What a great listen. Very interring and so easy to listen to. Highly recommend.
True crime podcasts can - understandably - be sombre in tone and that’s understandable. But hosts Gill and Laura, while respecting their topic, make Crime Divers Podcast less sombre down to their sisterly love, and interest in the cases they discuss each episode.

Two Scottish sisters explore true crime with a breezy, conversational style that blends meticulous case research with light banter and engaging storytelling. Episodes cover lesser-known cases and controversial investigations, often highlighting forensic puzzles, cultural context, and ethical considerations, all delivered with warmth and humor. A standout trait is their strong dynamic and distinctive accents, which listeners frequently praise, though a portion notes collision with accessibility due to pacing or speech. This mix of rigor and personality makes it appealing to true-crime fans who enjoy thoughtful analysis served with a personal touch.
