Is good to know if several experiences in the same topic. Is been 3 years since this season. Would be good to have a new season on different points of views in another area.
You guys! Do another season!!!! Fellow foster parent here, former social worker in foster care, and you do an amazing job of truly keeping the idea of “what is best for the child” at the forefront. I loved listening to these episodes. Thank you for the encouragement and the raw sharing.
So great to finally be able to find a podcast about foster care that centers the child, reunification, and while respectful to Christianity, doesn’t center it.
This podcast has been really helpful to me as we’ve begun foster care. It’s always helpful to hear others stories and there were great perspectives shared. I also liked that it wasn’t religion based.
As a foster carer from Victoria, Australia, the way things are done in the USA are obviously a bit different. But I can totally relate to the issues and challenges discussed, and I shed a few tears listening to this. Foster caring can be very difficult, but extremely rewarding.
