Very interesting podcast. It covers various items and explains the background to the items in a clear and engrossing way
I have listened to the first five podcasts and although I try hard to keep up to date with events and I take a very keen interest in history; I have learned a hell of a lot! Many thanks! I’m staggered the Intelligence Agencies of the West, failed to identify the complex nature of countries such as Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan. I am amazed they were unaware of the various power bases within these countries and consequential impact of these powers reacting against The Western Coalition.
This podcast combines the fascinating experience of a museum, which I thought impossible to create by podcast, with the best reasons reasons to study our past. Furthermore, the unique format of a guest speaking with experts over a particular item brings a refreshing format to topics often discussed without concern for originality.
This is a great show. Well researched, well packaged and engagingly presented (by the experts, at least. Some strange and annoying input from unnecessary ‘celebrity’ contributors’.) Please make more of these, without the representatives from ‘popular culture’. Just historians, please. Great show.
