In general: I have learned a great deal from every episode of Journey Through Time that I have listened to – especially on the topics that I haven’t taken an interest in before. If history had been taught like this when I was at school, I would have been good at it!
In particular: the series on the Gunpowder Plot was exceptional. The context is everything. I understand now the global impact that Fawkes’ actions would have had, if he had succeeded.

Listening to David and Sarah telling these stories is so interesting and mind blowing. I’ve watched David’s program ‘A House Through Time’, loved the Liverpool series being a scouser! Then found this podcast. I’ve found The Christmas Carol and Chernobyl stories absolutely fascinating and look forward to listening to the back catalogue, a great find. Thank you David and Sarah. Really great content and subject matter. David is assured with a super cadence, but the nervous laughter of Catherine undermines this and at times overwhelms. Its often at awkward moments which is a real shame as it disrupts a great narrative
I adore this show. Sarah and David are both the perfect hosts and a fantastic combination. The content and topics are interesting, revealing and often exciting. I’ve listened to every show several times to soak up the detail, and just to enjoy the company of Sarah and David - thanks folks 🫶 and keep ‘em coming 🙏 highly recommend! 5*****
Got hooked listening to the Chernobyl series and am now working through the other shows. Brilliant content and they keep you coming back for more
