Amazing series on McCarthy. Resonates so much in today’s world and so interesting to hear the connections to the film industry.
This podcast is so cool, I’m a classics student and I love that the historiography is front and centre, it really stands on its own as a podcast. I love the rest is history and thought it would be more of the same but it delivered something entirely different, engaging commentary and discussion. I’m going to work through to catch up!
Amazing, detailed and incredibly interesting insights ... love both the hosts, they have great chemistry and brilliantly combine their knowledge. Love learning about all these topics in depth.
So much information about events that I knew about and so many I didn't, such as the explosion on Black Cat Island. Can't wait for another series, hopefully very soon. Well done both David and Sarah, come back soon.
Reviewing in response to the end of series 1 in the hope that this excellent podcast will be continued. I have thoroughly enjoyed Journey Through Time. It took a bit for David and Sarah to find their groove, but I now think they have a great dynamic. Love the selection of topics covered - favourites to date have been McCarthyism, Chernobyl and Harriet Tubman. Please make another series! More women specific history please and LGBTQ+.
