This podcast is heart warming, funny and well presented by Lucy! Great insights into the guests and their reading habits and now I have some amazing sounding new books to add to my reading list too!
These podcasts are witty, interesting and entertaining. Lucy Danser charmingly interviews different comedians about their favourite books. If you love comedy and books these podcasts are a great way to chill out and hopefully introduce you to some new comedians and books.

I LOVE comedy and I occasionally love reading a good book. Never thought I’d find a podcast that combines both those passions! This is a fascinating listen!
Lucy Danser and her guests discussion is funny, honest and entertaining - all things much needed in these crazy times.
Particularly in the literary discussions, the episodes are engaging and lacking in pretension. Whether you consider yourself a high-level advocate of literature or a casual consumer you’ll find something for you.
On listening to a few episodes I have a few books that I’ve added to my reading list and a few comedians to check out - especially when live stand up resumes.

I have just finished listening to my first episode of Comics’ Books and I am definitely coming back for more! Lucy Danser is a great interviewer and I love the topic. I’ve taken notes of books I want to look for and am looking forward to listening to everything else she has to offer. Laura Lexx and Lucy were so delightful to listen to. Great podcast!
Love the podcast! Keep up the good work!
Some people think comedians only ever read comedy material, but that's far from the truth! :) This podcast is fab!
So refreshing to find a professional podcast that’s truly entertaining, funny and informative. I have listened to the first two so far, both the comedians gave us a good insight to their personality and some moments were very touching. The presenter is very talented at getting little nuggets of truth from the guests as well as laughs. I hope this one runs and runs.
This podcast is funny, witty and interesting. Comedians have fast and clever minds. Lucy who has worked with a plethora of them brings out their best qualities. The mutual passion for books is the icing on the cake that binds it all together
Lucy develops a really nice rapport with guests from the world of comedy. Interesting discussions without ever getting too 'worthy'. Just a really nice listen for anyone with an interest in books
Lucy is a great listener and interviewer. Books are fabulous and so are comedians so it’s a good thing this exists.
