Karen describes an early love of biology and a shift from unrelated fields into clinical trials, where she started as a trainee and gradually moved from site monitoring to sponsor and site leadership. This culminated in founding TASK Research Academy to provide a holistic view of the clinical trial lifecycle and to train across all stakeholder roles.
