This podcast is unbelievably captivating. There have been what I consider “negative reviews”, and I think those are not representative of the work. This team put together a series with what little equipment they had. It wasn’t a fancy studio; it was humble, but their product kicks the #### out of the competition.
To the team: your work is worth the ongoing efforts. Pick up where you left off. People will come and listen.
Aside from a rather bossy host, this podcast has a rather soothing tho somewhat discombobulated air. The hosts don't have a very clear plan each episode and neither of them read scripts very well, but they do divulge a detailed amount of information that is useful for learning about the case. In particular, hearing about what's in the zodiacs letters. One of the hosts is a bit of a know it all ("A gunshot in the tongue if "hot enough will sear off the veins"? Really?). But a decent listen.
I find this podcast very interesting, but it really needs to be recorded in the same place consistently. The audio tends to be pretty terrible. Hopefully once they get their new equipment, it will improve.
This podcast plays over a loudspeaker in hell.
