Very sorry to see Chopper go. I thought his analysis and knowledge of political history and interviewing style, putting his interviewees at ease, was superb. However I do not like the fact that the Telegraph now pinch all his podcast followers, keeping his logo on the podcast to force people to listen to The Lockdown Files. radio 4 was my regular listen until COVID. From May 2020 my listening habits of a lifetime changed. COVID crystallised the BBCs clear bias and I’ve never returned to them (tv or radio). Instead The world of podcasts opened up including Choppers politics. Sorry to hear the final episode is next week....eagerly awaiting news on what’s next for your podcasting endeavours. Uk needs a range of voices- including your own and those of your guests.
