I have been looking for a biography podcast for a long time and this was just suggested to me. So far I have really enjoyed the Vermeer and Dickens episodes. The host has a nice voice and he includes a great episode web page if you want to see the art he referenced (Vermeer especially). Looking forward to hearing more!

Excellent show to have on in the background while working. Pretty amazing the professional job being done with a mic in a basement or garage. The biographies are tight and fast. Always interesting. Well researched and I appreciate the fact he notes sources. If I’m in the mood for that style, opposed to say the OI lectures.
I think you’ll enjoy the series. As always, I’ll be sad after I’ve heard all episodes.
