This Canadian subscriber wasn’t even going to listen to the podcast about Elvis. I wasn’t a fan. I’m glad I did though. I found it very interesting. Also wanted to mention the actor James Stewart enlisted in the Second World War. I’ve listened to all the 1001 podcasts except the Wild West ones and have learned a lot of good conversation starters that usually begin, “Did you know…” More recently I listened to the podcast called Giovanni’s Ring. Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

MEET THE OHIO BIGFOOT CLAN AN AMERICA 250 LEGEND SPECIAL PRESENTATION
Q: Why haven't we found skeletal remains or conclusive physical evidence?
Investigators propose that bones decompose rapidly in wet forests and that the creatures may actively avoid areas where bones could be found, combined with patterns of movement and habitat selection that reduce detectability.
MEET THE OHIO BIGFOOT CLAN AN AMERICA 250 LEGEND SPECIAL PRESENTATION
Q: Do people disappear in this region?
Yes, but there have been no disappearances officially linked to Bigfoot by law enforcement or investigators, suggesting either misattribution or a different kind of risk exposure.
REINCARNATION AND KARMA: THE EDGAR CAYCE INTERVIEWS
Q: On your spiritual journey, do you get to choose the path of your reincarnation?
The guest explains that there is both free will and karmic obligation, with examples showing a soul sometimes choosing not to reincarnate at a given time, but generally choosing to reincarnate to graduate and address karma.
BOB HOOVER AND THE HEROES OF FLIGHT AMERICA 250
Q: What shaped Hoover's approach to testing and flight after the war?
Hoover leveraged his broad, hands-on experience with multiple aircraft types and worked closely with mentors and fellow pilots to push for safer, more capable designs, while continuing to inspire morale through demonstrations and public appearances.
DEVIL DOGS K COMPANY 3RD BATTALION GUADALCANAL TO OKINAWA INTERVIEW W AUTHOR SAUL DAVID
Q: What did you find most surprising in the memoirs you used for Devil Dogs?
The sheer quality and honesty of the first-hand accounts, along with how deeply veterans processed their experiences, often long after the battles, which made the narrative both gripping and emotionally powerful.
