Great Voice. Tells a story well. Interesting and engaging topics. Just the right amount of episodes to get it done. You gotta love a podcast that gets mostly fives and a couple ones…. I went back and read the ones… Always amazed at the trivial details that people complain about!
Check this podcast out! GOOD STUFF!
The storytelling is brilliant. Julia Bricklin expertly brings the past to life by highlighting the smaller stories within the bigger story and providing details on individual characters.
Agree with the average rating. "Mexico and US were fighting over California" is quite myopic. It was an invasion of Mexico. Great storytelling though.
I enjoyed the series about the Buffalo Soldiers, and it was good to know that several received medals and official recognition. It’s too bad our country took so long to use African Americans in combat and integrate the armed forces. Now, with the current effort to whitewash Black History and other accomplishments by women and people of color, this podcast series is especially important. Thank-you, keep up the good work.
I enjoy and appreciate the research that has been put into the stories which are told here. It is a good length and just enough time to provide good information in an entertaining and informative way.
