We're breaking the law in Utah this week, Dear Listener, and not a single soul died in the making of our cult. (You're welcome.) Missy runs through the list of strange laws still hindering our weekends, and Amy ponders the lifelong habit of always be... more
Oh my goodness we come right out of the gate swinging this week, Dear Listener, with tales of sex tapes (real and homemade). We quickly pivot to shockingly descriptive talky-talk about sexuals of every age, but don't fret. We eventually move on. Turn... more

Just learned that these two have been selling comedian Kai Choyce's official merch design as their own. They put it on shirts, stickers, and even made it part of the logo for their podcast. Not sure how or why they decided to put his original shirt design that he has been selling on his website for years now on their own merch but that's pretty much the lowest thing you can do to an artist.
In a time of high stress and anxiety, listening to this podcast is the highlight of my week. Despite the fact that you’ve put me off of ranch dressing for good (dear review reader, listen to the episode about Jeff Bezos going into space for why 🤣) listening to you two laugh, curse, call out stupid things and people, and so lovingly support each other through life’s milestones makes me so happy every week. This podcast is such fun!
Love this show so much! When I'm missing hanging out with my girlfriends, this is my go-to podcast. The conversations these friends have are wonderfully relatable, hilarious, and heartfelt. Brilliant Observations makes me laugh out loud regularly, and that's tough to do. They really are a hidden gem in the podcast world and will give you the warm fuzzies along with sore smile muscles!
You ladies make me laugh, you make me tear up as I am driving, you make me smile, but most of all you make me realize that life is what you make of it. Your friendship is incredible and I look forward to conversations when you disagree with one another because you are both willing to listen to what the other has to say. Amy and I have many things in common, including being outnumbered by the Y chromosomes in our houses. Melissa’s adventures with the dogs and building a shore house make me apprec... more

Two longtime friends trade blunt, uncensored banter about relationships, parenting, midlife, and everyday chaos with sharp humor and warmth. Across episodes they share personal stories, pop culture takes, and candid reflections on family, work, and self-improvement, often weaving in surprising tangents and moments of vulnerability. Notable throughlines include midlife introspection, family dynamics, and a fearless, unfiltered voice that blends humor with real talk about sex, finances, and social culture. The show's strength lies in the close friendship between hosts, their willingness to tackle taboo topics, and a conversational vibe that feels like a candid hang with friends who always bring it, no holds barred.
