I love this podcast. They truly love Survivor, and so you’re listening to superfans with a deep passion and understanding of both the episodes as they air and also the lore within the fan community and outside of show. Also, as someone who’s not very smart, hilarious, or queer, I love listening to Sam, Christine, and Derek excel in being so. Lastly, they never go off topic ever.
I like this pod and really like the hosts but the episodes are just way too off topic for my liking. I actually want to hear their thoughts on the Survivor episode but they always have guests now and they’re constantly derailing from the episode to talk about whatever anecdote that pops into their head. Not a bad experience I guess but sadly this isn’t for me, I’m constantly hitting the skip button :/
You guys are great! I also like when you have guests! But I like it when your guests aren’t going on endless monologues even more! This is your show, not theirs :)
One of my favorite podcasts on one of my favorite shows. Love listening along live and I’ve been binging old episodes (and seasons!!) in the meantime. Love your takes and commentary, keeps me coming back for more!
I keep trying to find other Survivor podcasts to listen to (in addition to this one) and I have to say that everyone else is: A. Wrong and B. Insufferable. Thank you for you insightful and hilarious commentary!
