Re AJLT, came here to say most American women only get 12 weeks of maternity leave (if that), much of it unpaid. As a nonprofit employee in human rights law, I can say that sadly nonprofits are often no better than corporations in pressuring staff to overwork and not take their earned time off. So not surprised that Miranda’s boss returned to work early at HRW. more
