  • Drew is GOATED

1st: You guys (and gal) are incredibly insightful and funny, my first listen to following the episode. Ashley (sorry if wrong spelling) you’re hilarious - keep it up.

Drew is an amazing guest. He is well spoken, has great (and spicy) takes, and isn’t afraid to speak his mind and call out BS from some of the cast. Keep bringing back guests who aren’t worried if they are going to be cast on the next HBO drama or want to be involved in Survivor 58: Battle of the Suck Ups

  • Hate to say this

Ashley seems like a crazy smart, perceptive, young lady, but I’m going to be honest we don’t need her takes. And the look on y’all’s face when she weighes in. Again, I think she is an amazing person but her survivor takes are mundane.

  • A+ exit interviews

Really enjoying this seasons coverage! Love that you go in order of the episode so you don’t miss anything!

Obsessed with the debrief section during the exit interviews. A+++

One note: please refer to women as women and not girls. (For those rolling their eyes - you would never call Jonathan or Joe a boy - so don’t call Cirie or Chrissy girls.

  • LOUD ENOUGH TO READ!!!!!

By far the best survivor content out there, and there’s a lot!

The trifecta of Tyson Aisling and Riley are a home run every episode.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

‘Survivor 50’ Episode 9 Exit Interviews! | The Pod Has Spoken
Q: Was there something you could have done to leverage the idol better, or could you have anticipated the outcome differently?
He reflects on the strategical dynamics, noting that while he would have liked a different outcome, the live tribal and the placement of the idol created a scenario where he couldn't fully control the result, and emphasizes learning from the experience rather than dwelling on the failure.
‘Survivor 50’ Episode 9 Exit Interviews! | The Pod Has Spoken
Q: Rick's fake idol was also your fake idol. How did you feel about him snagging that last week and then not really including you on its use that much?
Christian explains there was an understanding to use the idol if needed and that he didn't blame Rick for deciding to play it; it was a high-stakes moment that added drama to the live tribal, and he acknowledges the decision was risky but understandable given the circumstances.
‘Survivor 50’ Episode 5 Exit Interview! | The Pod Has Spoken
Q: Why didn't you play your shot in the dark?
Because the odds were one in six, and I trusted the realness of Emily's support and preferred to fight another day with that alliance.
‘Survivor 50’ Episode 5 Exit Interview! | The Pod Has Spoken
Q: How comfortable going into Tribal Council, did you feel that it would not be you?
I felt like I was prepared and accepted the likelihood I might go out; I considered my shot in the dark but chose to trust Emily and Christian and go with that plan.
‘Survivor 50’ Episode 2 Exit Interview! | The Pod Has Spoken
Q: Savannah, how soon did you know you were on 50?
Savannah says it was literally less than 24 hours after winning 49; Jeff pulled her aside and offered the invite, and she was surprised but excited to be included with the elite players.
